A softback printed cotton shade handmade by incredibly skilled craftswoman. This is a 35cm size (bottom diameter) convertible lampshade which is designed to work with a British (B22) or European (E27/E14) bulb holder. We also provide a reducer ring that allows shades to sit comfortably on a B22 holder. If it is E27/E14, simply push out the reducer. This lampshade can be used as pendant/hanging or on top of table lamps/floor lamps. Our shades are completely handmade and yet of top quality, eco-friendly, and of course 100% made in India. Lampshade Shape: Straight Empire or also called European or Euro shades. These come with a wide top diameter and steep sides. Adds elegance and sophistication to any space.
How to choose the right size: The shade’s height should be between 60 and 80 percent of a lamp’s height if it is on a table lamp and between 30 and 50 percent of the lamp’s height if it’s on a floor lamp. So, if the height of the lamp is 20 inches, the height of the shade should be between 12 inches and 16 inches. And the width of your shade should be at least twice as wide as the lamp at its widest point. GOLDEN RULE: To make it simple; another rule with no math – If you liked it, shade it.
